Frog Dissection Lab For Life Science

My 7th grade students need 38 bullfrogs for dissection. Dissection seems to be the most interesting part of my science class and has inspired students to pursue careers in the medical field.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Its Not Easy Being Green! That is the title of my frog dissection unit for 7th graders.

This year we do not have any funding for science. I teach in a high poverty school in California. Many of my students are gifted and interested in applying to the medical magnet program at their local high school.

Through bullfrogs, I can give them access to a hands on experience that teaches the about the human body. I have made this lab available to my students for the past ten years.

We already have all of the dissection tools that we need. Now we need the frogs. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
