Help me give my students the fun game of Frisbee Golf! This will help my students with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, along with developing strategies and giving them a chance to learn a life-long activity!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been focusing more on lifelong skills my students can use throughout their life. Not every student likes team sports, working out, or being in small groups. However, engaging in lifelong skills they can use throughout their life, and keep them active throughout their life.

Frisbee golf has benefits such as they can build muscular strength and coordination, along with spending time outdoors, which can promote mental well-being.

The students can improve their hand-eye coordination, coming up with a strategic plan to make the frisbee golf hole in fewer shots than their appointed. It will work on math skills by keeping score on their score card and being responsible to write their scores in for each hole. Frisbee golf is a lifelong skill they can take with them throughout their life. It will also help with the following physical benefits: cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility and balance, weight management, stress relief and self-confidence, and depression and anxiety management. Some other areas include strengthening core muscles, leg muscles, arm & shoulder muscles, and back muscles, which are large muscle groups. Grip strength can help with fine motor coordination.
