Friendship, Fun, and Games

Help me give my students games, LEGOS, STEM resources, snacks, and storage to help build their social skills and make friends during recess in the library.

My Project

COVID-19 impacted our students' social interactions. Student council identified alternative recess activities as a priority to help students work on social skills in a smaller group setting.

These resources will allow us to lead game tournaments, book clubs, and art activities.

The games and storage supplies will let us host tournaments and book clubs for interested students to talk, work in teams, and play games. The LEGOS/STEM resources will help students learn to work and play together. All of this will allow us to practice social skills again: talking, taking turns, and making new friends.
