This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Last year we suffered a heat wave that affected the learning environment of students - as our classrooms do not have air conditioning. Unfortunately, opening windows and using fans did not make a difference and created an unsafe environment.
By having portable air conditioners in the classroom, I am hoping to minimize learning loss by giving students a safe and cooling space.
Your donations to our project will help avoid another year of unpredictable conditions in our classroom, and hopefully avoid teenage fried brains and bring more brain freeze this year.
