This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Starting high school can be overwhelming for many students, and I want to ensure my students have the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally. This project will create a dedicated calming and motivational corner, equipped with items like pillows with welcoming messages, stress balls, and journals to help manage stress and promote mental well-being. Additionally, all students will be able to track their mental health journey in their own journal that they can decorate with their choice of stickers or they can create their own.

All students need a supportive environment where they feel safe to explore their emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

By contributing to this project, you’ll provide essential tools and a comforting space that can make a significant difference in the mental well-being of our students. Together, we can foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that empowers every freshman to succeed.
