Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help my students start the new school year with success. Unfortunately, we are not given the necessary supplies like crayons, glue sticks, markers, etc. that we use every day. These first graders get so excited to start school and would love coming in on the first day to their very own pencil box full of supplies. This also teaches them responsibility of their belongings! First grade would not be possible without any of these items!
My students need these everyday materials to complete class work, projects, and crafts.
I have also requested a few read aloud books to help teach social emotional learning and a book that helps teach them how to write an opinion writing piece! First grade is full of read alouds and I would love to add to our collection. I thank you in advance for giving my students a positive start to their first grade year!
