it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I will teach three sections of 5th grade English/Language Arts. My students rotate through three classrooms for the core subjects.
This project is a collection of things my students used and loved last year.
Last year I experimented with alternative seating, and the surprise favorite was the lap desk! I would love to add a few more to the collection. The chair bands are great for students to work out their fidgets. We are fortunate to have ChromeBooks for each student, but the built in track pads make it difficult to maneuver. The corded mice work well to bridge that gap. And batteries.....I have many things in the classroom that need batteries--like the wireless doorbell; slideshow clicker, and class set of game buzzers.
