Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Prek students are busy learners. They come to school to learn how to write. Daily name practice and wide exposure to writing utensils and other writing materials is vital to achieve this goal. To continue learning through hands on activities they need art and school supplies like assorted markers and laminating pouches for their names writing practice.
In my class these materials run fast, because my young students come to school for the first time and they do not have the necessary skills to properly care for the writing utensils.My students use markers everyday for writing and drawing.
When the markers are not closed correctly they dry off easily. With this project my goal is to to restock my classroom supplies for the upcoming school year and provide a fresh start to my new class.
