Fresh Start to School, Fresh Supplies !

Help me give my students access to beginning of the year school supplies. We need cleaning supplies, hard candies, and classroom supplies!

My Project

Thank you for visiting my page! My middle school math class is full of hardworking and creative students. My students have a variety of challenges ranging from Autism to Sensory processing disorders to ADHD and behavioral struggles. Over 90% of them receive support services. The special needs of my students mean that I must endeavor to have creative and hands-on lessons to keep them engaged.

By donating to our project, you will enable my students to have the support and motivation that they need to have a successful math experience.

The dry erase boards, erasers, clear tape, and paper cutter will give them access to tools that they need for hands-on and engaging math. The candy to suck on is also a wonderful way to assist students with oral sensory needs and anxiety. The tower fan and clorox wipes will help regulate room temperatures and keep the environment fresh and comfortable.

My students love to work together to tackle challenges in the classroom. In this supported environment, they are encouraged to communicate, problem-solve, and utilize teamwork to tackle real-world situations and problems. Because of the diverse abilities and challenges of my students I have learned to be adaptive in how I approach each student's needs in the classroom. This also means that I need to diversify and modify my lessons in order to keep them engaged. These supplies will help me to meet the constantly changing needs in my classroom.
