This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I enter my 10th year of teaching I would like to replace some of my furniture that has made the move with me to three different schools and has been "well loved" by the thousands of students I have taught since I started teaching.

The students I teach deserve a music room where nothing is falling apart.

The current state of some of the furniture that I supplied myself can only be described as horrible. I have drawers that don't work because the stand is broken, a bookshelf that has been graffitied beyond recognition, and my piano bench literally fell apart earlier this year.

This project will impact thousands of students and hopefully last for another 10 (or more!) years!
