Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, students are able to express themselves for their interests and their creativity. Students have the supplies to reach their potential academically. There is more to student success, especially at the teenage phase and how they are perceived by their peers.

Hygiene is a big part of how comfortable students are in and out of the classroom.

With this project, I will be able to have a hygiene station for my students to take as needed. Normalizing that students can use deodorant, lip balm, lotion, toothbrush, Kleenex, and skin ointment to help make them feel confident, then that is something I am willing to help with. Funding this has been a fun process as different items students ask if I can obtain for them is fun because they know there is somewhere they can go to make sure they can slay as they say.

Taking pride in oneself can boost confidence to help achieve the highest success personally and academically. I will continue to support them.
