My Students
My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.
Many of my students come from middle to low-income families.
My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.
My Project
My students need clean air. This air purifier will help clean the air in our classroom from the time they step through the door until the time they leave at the end of the day. Returning to school in the fall means added sanitation measures, and clean air seems like a top priority. We will also be working on ensuring everything has a place to live, so these storage drawers will help organize our classroom. A place for everything and everything in its place. This is the way of our new learning environment.
