My Students

I have an awesome group of second grade students who are always looking for new materials and resources. They have the ability to grow so quickly and love to read, read, read!

They are the future of our community and will help spread their love for learning.

They are full of questions, but are just as full of answers! They enjoy coming to school everyday with smiles on their faces from ear to ear.

Each of my students come from varied backgrounds which make for an eclectic class and group conversations.

My Project

Seeing my second graders' eager faces in person after a year of distance learning is wonderful! But due to Covid-19, we are required to keep our doors and windows open to help keep our students safe. So far, this has been challenging due to the hot weather and the toxic smoke from California wildfires. With colder days ahead, getting safe, clean air into the classroom and keeping the cold, wet breezes out will create other issues.

Having an air purifier would make it feasible to close our classroom doors when it becomes necessary.

Students will enjoy a comfortable room temperature and excellent air quality to help them focus on learning.
