My Students
My students come to school each day and leave behind all the difficulties of their home lives. These kids are an inspiration! My students live in extreme poverty, but they don't let that hinder their drive for success! Our school is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity for these inner-city kids to get the most out of their education through academic rigor and recognition for their hard work, and I am determined to do what it takes to help them achieve that!
My Project
My school is an inner-city, old building and although we have the most magnificent academics the state has to offer, with the best teachers, we still face challenges with the environment in which we teach! An old building means dirt, debris, and germs floating through the air!
An air purifier will eliminate all of those yucky germs in the air, leaving my scholars with fresh air to fuel their growing brains!
They deserve to breathe the freshest, clean air and I would love to give them that opportunity when they walk into my classroom each and every morning! This would be a huge asset to my classroom!
