We are a new French immersion school located in the Midwest.
Our K-2 students spend their days reading, writing, and speaking in French, and they are doing an amazing job in their language acquisition! Are we a private school? "Non!" A gifted school? "Mais non!" We are a 100% free charter school that believes that learning another language is part of a larger goal of preparing our kids to be leaders. Our students come from all backgrounds, and this diversity is what makes us who we are. We have a great group of community members and families supporting our mission, and hope you will join us!
My Project
We are requesting French-language globes, maps, flags, stickers, and books for our school. We will use these resources to support our young learners as they are discovering the world we live in. Our students will use the globes and map to get an understanding of the world, where countries are located, and how they compare to each other. We will use the flags to show how the French language is spoken around the world, and the books to increase student literacy. Stickers and Mardi Gras accessories will be used to motivate and celebrate our students.
Donating to this project will provide young learners with access to some of the most basic tools in our language of immersion.
Our kids are learning to speak and read in French, and we want to support them even further on their path to becoming global citizens. We hope that you will join us!
