Help me give my students get this Canon Camera to assist them caputure important memories. It will also help them to learn basic photography skills using a camera.

My Project

My students love to have their pictures taken during their various activities, especially during the Special Olympics. Since most of them have cell phones, I usually select the higher functioning student to be the class photographer. No, the pictures aren't always the best, but it's their best!

This project will expose my students to the field of photography and help them to have visual documentation of their growth.

My students work on different independent living skills and they like to take pictures of the activities they are working on. For example, making the bed or cooking breakfast. Having a camera would really make them feel just all so special!

My students are the most resilient population of students ever and I love them!
