My Project

With new Social Studies standards being implemented this fall, my students need up to date resources including a crayon sharpener, sets of US documents, and books. Our first focus will be on the Constitution and how we can be civically minded. We will also learn about our culture and those of others in our community and across the nation. Lastly, we will focus our attention on Indigenous people now and in the past to notice the changes that have taken place.

Being creative and exploratory will encourage stronger connections to our past.

We hope to be able to create hands-on projects that will foster excitement about learning and pride in a job well done.
