Help me give my students cold, filtered, free water! We would not only be promoting a healthier life style but promoting conservation efforts by implementation of reusable bottles.
Cossatot River High School is a consolidation of two historically rival smaller schools. From the initial consolidation the students have not let this fact stop them from developing a love for one another. They have grown to support each other not just in extracurriculars but also in the classroom academically.
We want to be able to give something back to such a deserving set of students.
Most of our students work extremely hard at school both in and out of the classroom. We would love to provide them with something special to show our appreciation for the work they put in each day.
My Project
Most of our students come from low socio-economic situations and cannot afford to pay for water bottles out of the machine each day. Our students are also only allowed water in clear containers. By providing this filling station we could lessen this particular stress for a good portion of the students.
Free, cold, H2O will benefit all of the very deserving students that attend Cossatot River High School.
We could decrease time spent out of the classroom by students to get a drink if they were able to efficiently fill up a water bottle to have with them in the classroom.
