My Project
I have had clean drinking water as long as I have lived on this earth. I have taken it for granted. This past Sunday, the lights went out and so did the pump on our water tower. The water was restored but it's not clean yet. We went into crisis mode at our school. We turned the water fountains off. We quit making ice. We didn't make our tea and the children couldn't have water.
This town is small on the map but big in the hearts of people that care for our children in this crisis.
We have bottles of water right now, but I don't know how long they will last. Will this be another dire Jackson with no clean water, or will we fix it soon. Only time can tell. I am hoping that someone sees this and rushes to help. We desperately need it!
