This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a diverse group of learners. These students are special because they are English Language Learners and come from all over world. Franklin is a well loved character in Children's Literature. Our English Language Learners can benefit from getting to know this familiar character through reading this series of books. Through reading about Franklin and his experiences students will have the opportunity to dive into reading skills like analyzing setting and character traits, problem and solution, and theme and other story elements.
