My Project

Having a mat cutter and mat board in a high school art classroom can be an invaluable addition, providing students with the tools and skills to present their artwork in a professional and polished manner. By teaching students how to properly measure, cut, and mount their artwork using mat board, you help them develop craftsmanship and attention to detail—qualities that are vital for any aspiring artist.

A mat cutter allows for clean, precise cuts that elevate the presentation of student work, whether it’s being displayed in a school exhibition, submitted to a contest, or added to a college portfolio.
