My Students
I teach at a Title I school in west Georgia. My students are motivated to come to school every day to learn new things. I love that my students are excited about learning and want to be successful. They are extremely hard workers.
My Project
We are gearing up for our fraction unit and students will learn fractions better when they have hands-on experience. Fraction kits and open numbers can help students visual compare and order fractions. Multiplying fractions can also become complicated when students don’t understand them, so having a tool they can use to find the product will help them meet the standards for fractions. Students also love learning through games and the fraction games will help them to accomplish that goal. Kids are excited when they can have hands-on activities to help them understand concepts.
