it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students at Arcadia are special in every way. Just take a stroll through our hallways, and you will see the smiling faces of students that truly love to come to school and learn. I feel lucky every day to get to contribute to building the mathematical understanding of these young minds.
As a first year math coach, I am trying to build a supply of resources for teachers to sign out to use with our students.
These fraction related items would be so helpful. Developing fraction sense can be very abstract for many students. Having these tools to refer to will surely help our students have a visual representation to refer to. Being able to create multiple representations of various fractions promotes flexible thinking.
Please consider donating to help me put materials into our students's hands. Being a Title I school in a high poverty area, means that my students already face obstacles that other students don't. Please help me give them tools that they otherwise will not have the opportunity to utilize.
