My Project
Hello! I am a Parent Educator. I provide home visits to families to promote early learning and understanding of milestones. I conduct screenings as well. BUT my favorite part about my job is bringing books for families to read together. Many of the families I work with have many children and are unable to purchase books. Unfortunately, I do not have access to many books. Most of the time, I bring my own book and have to take it with me when I leave the home visit. I would love to be able to bring a book to each family that they may keep to start a home library. Reading is crucial for children's social, language, communication, and literacy growth. Please help me give the gift of reading to my families!
