I teach fourth grade at a Title I school located in Central Florida. 98% of students at my school are eligible for free/reduced price lunches. I teach math, science, social studies and ELA to a total of 25 students. Our students come from a variety of social, behavioral, and emotional backgrounds.
I want my students to learn the importance of financial literacy through the utilization of a classroom economy system.
This project will enable them a fun opportunity to earn "class cash" to purchase items in our class store. My students are eager to learn. This project will provide an engaging way for them to learn about financial literacy.
My Project
This project will provide a much needed printer to use in our classroom. We will use this printer to print all of our materials for class such as homework, worksheets, articles for writing and reading as well as student created work that they create on their computers.
This project will provide my students a printer to not only receive printed resources to use in class, but will give them access to print off work they do on their computers in class.
This project will supply our classroom with a printer and ink. We will take very good care of it so it can be used for years to come. I have a personal printer in my classroom currently, but it is a color printer and the ink costs so much money. This printer will be such a blessing on days I am short copies, or need to print something last minute. My students do a lot of work on their computers, this will give them a way to print it out in the classroom.
Thank you for contributing to the achievement of my fourth-grade students.
