This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fortunate enough to have a small yard in their school for recess. Now we need you to help them have some fun and at the same time exercise, by providing them with playground equipment.

My students are fourth graders who come from a very diverse community.

Our school is currently overcrowded. The upper grade students have a very small yard in the back of the school for recess. The students have recess once a week for half an hour. This is something they look forward to. Unfortunately when they are outside they do not have much fun because of a lack of playground equipment.

My Project

If my students receive this playground equipment they will be able to enjoy recess. My students always look forward to recess and these materials will make it all the better for them. They will be able to have fun and make friends through play. They will exercise their bodies and stay fit and healthy.

Your generous donations to this project will strongly impact my students by providing them with a way to have fun and staying fit.

Their recess time will be so much more meaningful to them. I know their faces will glow with happiness if they receive this playground equipment.
