Help me give my students a Kindle Fire tablet for reaching their Accelerated Reader goals this school year.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Miller's classroom raised $333

My Project
Our school is a math and medical science themed magnet school. Our principal has wonderfully executed a school-wide culture of excelling in the medical field. Because of our theme, at the end of each school year, we host a "White Coat Ceremony" for the "seniors" of our building (fourth graders).
This ceremony allows students to be celebrated through academic awards and they get to share this experience with their families.
As the librarian and person overseeing the Accelerated Reader program in our school, I would like to reward the top four students of fourth grade (who earned the highest amount of AR points) with a Kindle Fire tablet. They get to keep these tablets to continue to develop their love for reading well past lower elementary school.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
