Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In fourth grade, we focus on meeting every morning to discuss good strategies to use for life using the A Little Spot of Feelings books and activities. Flip chart markers help so that students can see models of learning on the walls of their classroom.
Students at this school will be directly impacted by your donation.
Many students also enjoy the Dog Man series and I like to have a class set available for them to borrow from my classroom library. These books help them understand figurative language, which can be tricky as an English leaner.
