Fourth-Grade 3D Print Shop

Help me give my students a 3D printer and the filament to use with it so that they are able to further expand on their knowledge of utilizing technology and providing materials to start their own fourth-grade business.

My Project

Our fourth-grade class is in the early stages of creating a grade-level business that will use 3D printers to print keychains. These keychains will then be sold to raise money that will go toward various charitable organizations. The students will assist in choosing which organizations they would like to donate to. I am very excited about this project because it will offer so many different opportunities for our students based on their interests and talents. This business will allow us to work in different areas such as website development, graphic design, and finances. The different areas will provide students with an opportunity to learn and grow in different areas that will help during their time at school, but also as they prepare for their time beyond school.
