My students are energetic and excited about learning. Most of them come from a variety of different backgrounds but the majority see a lot of hardship within their home lives. My goal is to create a safe learning space for all to enjoy their school journey!
My Project
Our students are resilient and wonderful learners. Many of our students experience hardships at home and unfortunately don't always have the support at in their personal lives for their education. It's my desire to help them learn new skills and refine those they already have. Having headphones in the classroom will help each student, especially those with lower reading levels, be able to have texts read to them, or to help cancel out the noise of other students working. As a social studies teacher, these headphones will help them take a closer look at primary sources, text information, and help them to focus on themselves and their learning.
