Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from various backgrounds, mostly low income who were affected tremendously with COVID-19. Due to students not attending in person school for the entire year, most are behind academically.
The phonics materials listed will help students create a strong foundation for reading, aiding them not only academically but also giving them a sense of accomplishment, in turn aiding their social- emotional development.
If funded, the resources will help students for the entire school year they are in my classroom as well as any incoming students for years to come!
