This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help give my students with moderate to severe disabilities a learning environment that fosters Social Emotional Learning (SEL). The Social Emotional Learning materials that I have selected for this project, will support my students well being, through; books, fidgets, visuals and hands-on materials. Help my students build awareness of their emotions and practice mindfulness.

My overall goal is to create a learning environment that is sensory enriched so that my students can successfully thrive and learn.

Having these Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources will foster a calm and inclusive learning environment that will allow each student to reach their fullest potential.
