Buddy reading is a proven strategy for ESL students to develop their English language skills and fluency. However, it can be challenging to implement without a designated space. A classroom rug designed for buddy reading will create a welcoming reading corner for my students, encouraging peer interaction. This will allow my students to practice language skills through discussion and shared reading experiences.
An inviting rug can make reading fun and enjoyable, helping ESL students develop a lifelong passion for books.
The buddy reading rug will further enhance my students' listening and speaking skills. They will be able to take turns reading aloud, to improve their listening and speaking skills which is crucial for language development.
