My Project
As I approach my college graduation, I'm passionately building my classroom library to reflect the diversity in our society. Recognizing the power of representation, I aim to create an inclusive space where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
Culturally responsive literature serves as a gateway to understanding, empathy, and connection, allowing students to see themselves reflected in the stories they read and enabling others to explore worlds beyond their own experiences. I firmly believe that a diverse array of books not only educates but also empowers, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding among my future students.
