Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Incorporating regular breaks and physical movement throughout the day is crucial for keeping students focused and energized. Brain breaks—short intervals for stretching, walking, or quick physical activities—help students refresh their minds and reduce stress. These moments of movement not only improve concentration but also boost overall well-being by releasing endorphins. By building these breaks into the daily routine, students can return to their work with renewed focus and positive energy, contributing to a more balanced and productive learning environment. Furthermore, having a printer on hand will enhance this process by providing printed materials like worksheets, reading comprehension exercises, and vocabulary activities in the ELA (English Language Arts) classroom. With these resources, students can engage more effectively with the content, practice their literacy skills, and strengthen their understanding. Printed materials make it easier to distribute resources quickly, allowing students to actively participate in lessons and track their progress, all while supporting their growth as readers and writers.
