My Project
Social and Emotional Learning connects to numerous aspects of our lives. Kids who experience acceptance, security, and love from an early age tend to perform better academically.
Please help me in providing my non-verbal students with tools to identify and articulate their emotions using different resources, such as the 24 Board Books - Solobo Toys focused on feelings, which will aid them in understanding themselves and others more effectively.
Teaching students to recognize how they feel first, will help them to empathize with others later. These toys and books will help them to identify and understand those feelings. It is also a way for teachers to help name and validate big feelings in students when they don't know how.
I want to enhance emotional intelligence, developing positive coping strategies, and fostering effective interactions through play!
