Forest Brook Football

Help me give my students uniformed team socks that keep the players legs warm and strengthen team unity.

My Project

I currently teach eighth-grade Physical Education and coach football and soccer at a Title-I middle school where 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunches. Many of these students come from rough neighborhoods and live in economically struggling homes. Despite many of their daily hardships, there has been an outpouring of students who have joined the football team this season. The weather in Houston has dropped tremendously over the past week. Many have socks, but do not have the proper socks for cold weather. We appreciate your assistance!

The team socks will protect the player's legs from the cold weather and strengthen team unity.

This year, I have the honor and privilege of coaching 40 bright, dedicated, and hard-working young men this football season. Some have never had the opportunity to play football before now. It has truly been a blessing to see their skills, confidence, attitudes, and character build each week as the season has progressed.
