My students need to be able to explain how force effects motion. Magnetism is one of the various topics that needs to be addressed in our classroom as well as seeing movement on incline planes.

My Students
My students are a group of children from many different backgrounds. We are vast multicultural schools of all levels of economic status however the majority are low social economic backgrounds. Most of our students are first generation Americans or they themselves are immigrants. We are labeled a Title one school for that reason.
My students need more exploration to build better understanding of the topic of forces and motion.
I am looking to forward my students to better understand the English language through many project activities.
My Project
These materials will give my class the opportunity to test out the effect of force on motion. This topic will improve there understanding because they will have the opportunity to work with force with a hands-on lesson. It will also assist in breaking the language barrier as they will be able to use there own knowledge to explain how it worked.
My class having an opportunity to express themselves without language through actions will alleviate the pressure of reading the complex text.
The use of the magnets for exploration will improve understanding of the topic of Force and motion as will the Motion Discovery Tubes.
It will also aide in developing the English language which is a barrier in our school.
