Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Much of my classroom at the moment is barren. It is very much like most classrooms with chairs, tables, desks, a calm corner, and so on. But as a special education student myself, this place looks like an office for students, a place to work and do tasks. I don't intend to hide the tasks ahead, but at the very least, they should be given the chance to choose the seat in which they'll learn from and the tools they'll use to get it done.
I will be using the items listed to tailor my work to my students themselves.
The rug and flexible seating will fill the office desert of a classroom, but the materials I will utilize to allow students to bring themselves to the classroom's infrastructure. They will come to the room knowing their thoughts, their hands, their eyes, and ears have been here and know here.
