My Project
The students at our Elementary School are big-time readers. We are an A-rated school in the state of Florida (for the second year running) and a big part of that success is the reading skills of our students. We know that the more kids read, the better readers they become.
Our students develop the love of reading because they find the books that they love in our media center. We know that if we turn kids on to reading, they will read for the rest of their lives. Our media center slogan is, "Readers Are Leaders" and our students prove that saying everyday.
This classroom project was brought to life by The Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation
and 2 other donors.
