This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have a great love for the Chacho series books. Students have learned many lessons throughout the year, such as being honest and treating people with kindness. Students can read this book and be reminded how we should treat one another.

These books are great for sequencing stories and also clearly show the story elements.

They will also gain reading fluency by reading and rereading this book over the summer months and adding it to their home libraries.

The wagon would be very beneficial in carrying our books and other resources around our campus.

Let’s continue to instill the love of reading for my new readers.
