My Project
I spend my days with 23 fun-loving first graders! We have a variety of needs in our classroom. My students are motivated to learn when things are easily accessible to them. My goal is to give my students authentic practice reading and listening to mentor text and visuals every day during our shared reading time. We have a carpet area where we often gather to listen to stories and solve problems together. I want to be sure that classroom books and posters are displayed throughout the day so they can extend their own learning beyond our whole group lessons.
