This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students absolutely rock! Each year, I am grateful to get to know a new group of learners that are eager and excited to grow their brains! I am so lucky to work with amazing students and in such a wonderful school.

As a newer teacher, I have had to create a lot of my own games, activities and classroom materials to use with students!

Unfortunately, at the end of last school year, my most frequently used teaching tool, broke beyond repair. My laminator was the most useful and helpful teaching tool. I used my laminator on a weekly (if not daily basis in the beginning of the year!) to laminate math games, reading activities, social emotional learning tools, visual behavior supports, a functional class labeling system, classroom management tools and so, so, so much more!

With this project, the materials donated to my classroom will directly help my students be more successful and be able to access their learning in a fun and engaging way. It will also help the overall flow of our classroom so that more time is spent on learning rather than stress about what still needs to be completed. I cannot wait to give my students the materials and resources they need and deserve with your help :)
