Help me give my students flexible seating for differentiated needs, a manipulative for understanding Pythagorean Theorem, and number slides to assist with addition and subtraction of positive and negative numbers.

My Project
I have been asking for flexible seating for the last two years so students who spent so much time at home in an unstructured learning environment could have the resource and option to self-advocate for a different seating option. I would be so excited to be able to offer this option to my students; especially those on a 504. In addition, the Pythagorean Theorem is such an important concept that is built upon in high school, that a physical manipulative would go a long ways in allowing students to connect with the concept in a tangible manner. Lastly, I have noticed the one roadblock all students come to me with year after year, is being able to fluently add and subtract positive and negative numbers. This is such an important foundational skill for combining like terms and working with equations, that it is my hope, that having the number line manipulatives, will allow students to connect with the math to support them in all things Pre-Algebra and Algebra.
