My students love outdoor activities but due to weather conditions in our school, we would opt to do it in the classroom or laboratory for their own safety. They love engaging and collaborative work. In my first few months of teaching here, I've noticed that they do love hands-on activity, independent, and are multitaskers. When I was choosing the materials I'll be requesting, the first thing it came to my mind was the lesson about renewable energy and electricity.
The wind power analysis kits are the perfect materials for an investigatory project that would help them come up with a great idea to contribute knowledge to the community in reducing fuel consumption without compromising the quality of electricity usage, and that is through the use of renewable energy that will come from windmills.
Given the strong wind condition here, and with these materials, learners will make an investigatory if this material would be a great help, they will make an investigatory project which would provide concepts and knowledge on promoting sustainable development and renewable resources of energy. We hope that this request will be granted in preparation for our Science Fair this May 10, 2023.
