Food Pantry Supplies, Part 2

My Project

My students are self-contained and many are from extremely low income backgrounds. Worrying about food and needing basic needs met is one of the most significant disruptions to the learning environment.

Generous donors have supplied food for a classroom food pantry, but now we need ways to store that food so that it is both visible and neatly stored, as well as more snacks of maximum nutritional value.

My students are some of the most amazing young people. While they are considered at-risk youth, they are truly like any one of us who needs a second chance and encouragement to make some positive changes.

I love my students and believe that if you could meet them, you would see their potential and love them also. We are asking for some storage options and food. This is part of a series of projects to stock and organize supplies to address hunger and food insecurity in our classroom. We would also like Kind Bars, Oreos, CLIF Bars and Cheez-Its.
