My Project

There are so many student living below the means of what many people call survival. When students come to school they know that they will receive at least two meals a day. When they go home, that is not a guarantee that they have each day. We would like to provide snacks for the students to have before they go home and when they go home. My students would like to make bags for students who do not have the means to eat food just because they are hungry. My students with a few extra needs are learning that sometimes giving to others is more rewarding that giving to yourself. Our goal for this project is to make 100+ snack bags for students that are hungry and need just a small snack to make it through the day to finish their work with a clear mind and a full stomach.
