This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
State testing is always a stressful time in the year and can be extremely daunting for our students. The pressure to perform well increases anxiety and having to stay seated for hours can be a challenge for most, if not all. In hopes of easing some of their anxieties, we feel it is important to give our students brain breaks and time to enjoy a snack.
By providing our students with a brain break and time to have a snack, we know this will improve our students’ ability to pay attention and effectively complete their state exams.
Our students will greatly appreciate this donation!
Our students are so special to us that this is our second year teaching them. They are an amazing group of students. They have a great sense of humor, they treat one another with respect and kindness, and as soon as you walk into our classroom you can feel a great sense of community.
