This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All students enrolled in our school receive free breakfast and lunch at school. Many of my students are lacking food at home and with summer approaching, students are scared not knowing what food they will be able to eat. Many of my families come from low-income families where limited resources are available and there is only a limited supply of food. I am requesting a variety of food and snack items to send home with my students for the summer.

By donating to our project, you are helping to ensure that our students do not go hungry during their time away from school.
