Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have amazing students! They are funny, smart, and spunky. This project will help them keep going strong all day long.

Each day I have multiple students that come to me hungry.

Some don't have breakfast at home or get to school too late to get free school breakfast. Others are running short of funds on their lunch accounts. Even more find themselves running out of steam in the afternoons due to having a very early lunch (some at 11 am) and a long day ahead of them (we don't get dismissed until 4 AND some still have a 30+ minute bus ride home). I would love to be able to provide snacks for them so they don't have to try to concentrate on learning while their stomachs are rumbling.

Thank you so much for caring about my students' stomachs so they can care about their learning!
